AI – LLMs & Chatbots for SaMD (Internship)
Software as a Medical Device
Join our team of engineers, software developers, and medical experts in the development of SPINEsim a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) platform. This platform is aimed at helping surgeons and medical doctors to enhance spine healthcare, from planning to surgery and beyond.
By joining our highly skilled and motivated team, you will contribute to a product that merges cutting-edge engineering, AI-driven healthcare solutions, and medical expertise to improve the quality of life of millions of patients worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
Together with the R&D team you will participate in :
• LLM & Chatbot Development: Develop core components, define and fine-tune prompts, manage dialog flow, and integrate domain-specific knowledge.
• Backend Integration: Work on APIs and services to seamlessly connect the chatbot to the SPINEsim software.
• Testing & Documentation: Evaluate chatbot performance and maintain thorough documentation of features, architectures, and processes.
In addition, you will be involved in:
• UI/Front-End: Design and implement user-facing components for the chatbot and spine surgery planning workflow.
• Compliance & Safety: Stay mindful of medical device regulations and data privacy requirements.
• Collaboration: Engage with interdisciplinary teams, incorporating feedback from medical and technical perspectives.
What we are looking for:
• MSc (or BSc with relevant experience) in AI/Data science with an experience in NLP especially in developing Chatbots and LLMs.
• Development skills in Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail, ensuring high quality deliverables.
• Knowledge of JS & React.JS is a plus and is not mandatory.
Additional Information
• Internship should be for 3 months minimum.
• Remote work is partly possible, but on-site presence in Luxembourg, is preferred.
